9:00 am: Fill Farm Orders
Camp begins each day at the Farm Store. After check-in we receive our daily purchase order from the store and head out to harvest and fill the order. Campers will learn how to safely and correctly harvest produce, and the process of seed to sale.
10:00 am: Farm Chores! 🙂
Check chickens and refresh their food and water & collect eggs. Next we will do a field walk of our biodynamic garden and check for any issues. Campers will learn about pest insects and what healthy plants look like. After our field walk we’ll have a chance to check in with each other and have a snack.
11:00 am: Nature Walk
Identify different plants on the property, discover medicinal uses, and know which plants to stay away from.
12:00 pm: Lunch
Bring bagged lunch and water. We will have snacks from the garden daily that we will encourage campers to eat. **Must know if your child has any allergies**
1:00 pm: Farm Lesson/Reading Hour
• July 1 – Summer Crop vs Fall Crop, seeding pumpkins

• Aug 19 – Saving Seeds
• Aug 26 – Field Day & tie dye
