FarmOn! Foundation is a leading voice in the farm movement to change food. By providing food education and farm experiences to the community, in schools and on farm focused on the business of food and learning by doing, we contribute to rural prosperity and envision sustainable agriculture with a view to succession on family farms for careers that are valued and profitable.

We welcome the community at large to lift up local agriculture and JOIN OUR TEAM. By connecting consumers to the source of fresh food from local small scale and family farms we create an economic engine and re-learn how to eat, what it impacts and why that matters.

At Empire Farm, we use sustainable organic practices for ecological and environmentally sound farming methods and then integrate business based experiences into hands on learning for the next generation providing life experiences on our time and dime though paid positions and awarded scholarships.

By teaching the population where their food comes from and providing immersive experiences, the impact is long-lasting. By showing consumers that they can source their food just down the road from responsible and honest food sources, instead of trucking it in globally and allocating our food dollars to the big food business with packaged and processed food agendas that promise convenience but sacrifices nutrition, we take an active role to change food.

Our local food system is an economic engine to rebuild local economies and attract future generations to keep feeding us well. By connecting the community to seed + soil with food sourced directly from the farm, we create commerce and provide hands on experiences in agriculture with interactive learning. This imprints and fosters change in our food ways with consumer buying habits simply by meeting our farmers.

In our project based applied learning model, young people gain real life skill sets vital for viable livelihoods to set up these successful entrepreneurs to create commerce and preserve resilient agriculture we all need to eat. Good food is not a privilege. Neither are good food jobs. APPLY TODAY!
