A precursor to Camp FarmOn!, our Sprouts Camp is a 6-day August adventure at Empire Farm in Copake, NY, for ages 7 to 12. Mornings are spent exploring the beautiful farm, planting in the fields, tending to the greenhouses, harvesting vegetables, gathering eggs, playing games, cooking and eating; the afternoons are occupied with a special FarmOn! project. Sprouts Camp ends on Saturday with a community and family celebration of learning and the project presentation.

Students will also partake in field trips to nearby farms where they will begin to learn the business of food and learn to shop locally and bring back their bounty to prepare a meal from the ingredients they sourced on their trip!
