Friends of the Farmer; Jamie Oliver Is Casting

HUDSON VALLEY— Chef Zak Pelaccio is bringing a group of esteemed chefs together to cook a feast at his farm, Fish & Game. April Bloomfield (Spotted Pig, The Breslin, NYC), Matt Jennings (Townsman, Boston), Sean Brock (Husk, Charleston), Rob Gentile (Buca, Toronto), Lee Cooper (L'Abattoir, Vancouver), Derek Dammann (Maison Publique, Montreal) and more will cook over fire pits and use produce, fish, and poultry from the area to create a series of meals. FOOD TV— Giddy British chef Jamie Oliver is casting for his new web series Drinks Tube. The YouTube Channel launched a few months ago, and is now on the hunt for a new host. "The winner will also be flown to London from anywhere in the world to enjoy a Jamie-inspired prize." The contest is open to amateurs and professionals. [EaterWire]
