Friends of the Farmer; Jamie Oliver Is Casting Tuesday, July 1, 2014, by Daniela Galarza HUDSON VALLEY— Chef Zak Pelaccio is bringing a group of esteemed chefs together to cook a feast at his farm, Fish & Game. April Bloomfield (Spotted Pig, The Breslin, NYC), Matt Jennings (Townsman, Boston), Sean Brock (Husk, Charleston), Rob Gentile (Buca, Toronto), Lee Cooper (L'Abattoir, Vancouver), Derek Dammann (Maison Publique, Montreal) and more will cook over fire pits and use produce, fish, and poultry from the area to create a series of meals. The event takes place on August 17, 2014. Tickets start at $250; proceeds go to the FarmOn! Foundation. "The winner will also be flown to London from anywhere in the world to enjoy a Jamie-inspired prize." The contest is open to amateurs and professionals.
