Since 2011, FarmOn! has been bringing together local farmers and award-winning chefs for our yearly Hootenanny — a night of food and entertainment benefitting the Foundation. We are thrilled to announce that in 2020 we will hold the tenth annual FarmOn! Hootenanny. Of course, we had to make some adjustments this year, but we wanted to keep the spirit of the Hoot! alive in a responsible way. So, we partnered with American Express to offer their Cardmembers a unique culinary experience. For two weekends (July 25 and 26; August 1 and 2), American Express Card Members will be able to purchase gift baskets for curbside pickup from Empire Farm.
Inside each basket is a sampling of seasonal goods sourced directly from our partners in the Hudson Valley, along with a smoked salmon curated specially for FarmOn! by legendary chef Daniel Boulud.
Cardmembers may purchase this basket with their American Express credit card for $165. A bottle of Moreau-Nadet Chablis, 2018 is included for an additional $40, and a Bourgogne rouge from Jean-Marie Fourrier is available for $45 ($85 for both bottles). The wines were hand-picked by master sommelier and the founder of La Paulée, Daniel Johnnes. All proceeds benefit FarmOn! Foundation.

Each episode will feature a summer food theme with a unique dish and appetizer prepared by Chef Daniel Boulud with perfect wine pairing by Daniel Johnnes.
