Tessa E. Williams is an author, school food activist, entrepreneur, cannabis farmer and founder of the FarmOn! Foundation, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and public charity. Her women owned and led Cannabis Company, Empire Farm 1830, holds a NYS Adult Use Cultivation License and long term lease at Empire Farm, NY.
Tessa, born and raised in New York State Dairy Farming, launched her entrepreneurial career in the food industry as Founder of Sauces ‘n Love, Inc. a Boston-based food manufacturer, 25 years ago. Tessa and her former Italian partner revolutionized ready-made tomato sauce in a jar (Scarpetta) and other Italian specialty food products. The company garnered over 200+ print features and millions of television impressions as it grew globally, including two features in the Oprah Magazine “O” list, as well as 18 SFT “Sofi” awards, known in the industry as the Oscars of Food while growing a start-up specialty food venture from $100 to $10M revenues in 5 years with a view to acquisition that was realized in 2010.
Tessa’s marketing & outreach efforts have raised over $15 Million for the FarmOn! Foundation since 2011, and her unique talent for developing innovative products and brands coupled with brilliant marketing strategies will push Empire Farm’s cannabis brands to the top of the NY market.
